NHTIAD Goal

Our goal is to provide professional development, education and training in the areas of substance abuse treatment prevention and recovery. We strive to provide affordable and accessible trainings to addictions professionals and individuals preparing for careers in the substance abuse profession.

All trainings address core competencies for addiction counselors and prevention specialists and offer CEUs applicable toward credentialing for addictions and other mental health professionals. Since November 2003, the Training Institute has sponsored and co-sponsored an average of 35 trainings each year.
