Executive Director Position Description
The Partnership for a Drug – Free NH (PDFNH) is searching for a dynamic professional to lead the non-profit organization. PDFNH was organized in 1994 under the NH Department of Health and Human Services’ Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services and became a 501-C3 nonprofit organization in 2014.
The mission of the Partnership is to create and promote consistent statewide messages about the problems and solutions of substance misuse in the state through engagement of partners, members and champions. This position is full-time, informed by the Strategic Plan, 2016–2019.
The Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership and operational management of the Partnership for a Drug – Free NH according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. The position reports to the Board with responsibility for the Partnership’s programs, expansion, and execution of its mission.

Bachelor’s degree in related field/
Master’s degree preferred
Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) or willingness to work toward certification
Five years of non-profit leadership experience in substance use disorder field
Social Media and Marketing education and/or expertise
Budget creation and administration
Experience in fundraising and grant writing
