There are several opportunities for scholarships through the NH Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors Association. Additionally, through the NH Training Institute on Addictive Disorders, NHADACA helps facilitate the several Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services (BDAS) scholarships. See below for more information.

NHADACA SCHOLARSHIPS

New England School of Best Practices Scholarship: In 2007 NHADACA established a $500 scholarship to the New England School of Best Practices held at Waterville Valley Conference Center in Waterville Valley, NH in August/September of each year. The process for determining the scholarship recipient is as follows. The requirements of the scholarship are that the recipient must be a current NHADACA member, with a LADC or MLADC, and have been a member in good standing for the past 5 years. Priority will be given to people who have not received this scholarship in the past 3 years. They must submit a completed application form by the application deadline. 2016 deadline is July 22nd, 2016. Download your application. Scholarship recipients are chosen by the NHADACA Board. Award recipient will be notified via email.

Annual NAADAC Conference Scholarship: Receive air fare, hotel room and registration to the Annual NAADAC Conference. 2015 Conference will be held in Washington, DC, Oct. 16th – 20th, 2016. 2016 deadline is July 22nd, 2016. To submit your application click here.
