There is a scheduled Hearing on HB#410 set for March 5, 2009 at 2:00pm in LOB Room #306. It is crucial that you take the time to read the posted Alert in the Legislative Section and respond directly to the identified persons listed by the deadline of 2/26/09. I appreciate your time and commitment to staying aware of laws that impact our profession. The Board of Directors will be discussing this issue at the 2/27/09 Strategic Planning meeting.

Hello from the President,

HB410 is scheduled to be voted on by the NH House of Representatives on 1/6/2010. Please make time to read NHADACA's Action Alert and accompanying Talking Points to better prepare yourselves in how to assist in our collaborative efforts to continue to support HB410 as ammended. At NHADACA"s Annual meeting on 11/20/09 we made an announcement regarding HB410's unanimous vote by the ED&A, (House Executive Departments and Administration Committee) on 11/19/09 as "OUGHT TO PASS". Now, I am again urging you all to help in our united goal of expanding treatment to those with mental health and substance use disorders by improving access to concurrent and quality treatment provided by qualified MLADC's in the State of N.H.
