Have you noticed that the number of training events we offer have increased? In 2017 Carrie McFadden, our Training Director, and her team DOUBLED the number of events we have traditionally offered! We will continue offering as many training events as possible to meet the needs of substance use treatment, prevention and recovery providers. We support you in gaining and maintaining substance use credentials as well as the most current and effective practices in addressing substance use. Your membership and donations help us bring this training to you!
When you get your renewal letter in the mail, please consider making a donation to NHADACA, or donate online today. Every dollar raised helps us make New Hampshire healthier through providing accessible training, peer support, and leadership.

One recipient of our scholarship programs is a recovery coach volunteer, working at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center’s Addiction Treatment Program. She learned about caring for substance exposed infants, which she described as essential for her work with pregnant and new mothers who misuse opiates. Another recipient is on SSDI and unemployed. She is applying credit from her attendance at “Creating Connections that Count” toward her Special Education Teacher recertification.
