Dear Community Partners:
On behalf of the Manchester VA Medical Center I would like to invite you to participate in our 2016 Mental Health Summit.
The purpose of the Mental Health Summit is to enhance the mental health and well-being of Veterans and their family members through increased collaboration between the VA and the community. Our goal is to engage in active dialogue on how we as a community can address the mental healthcare needs of Veterans and their families.
Improving access to quality healthcare is a priority at the VA. Our focus this year will be on the most recent improvements in our behavioral health services, specifically access to care and suicide prevention.
The objectives/topics of discussion of the 2016 MH Summit are to provide an opportunity to sustain and enhance the positive working relationships and joint vision established last year in order to better address the mental health needs of Veterans and their families. Our Mental Health Summit hopes to enhance mental health care for Veterans and their family members through dialogue and collaboration between VA, Community and Military partners.
The Mental Health Summit will be held at 8:00AM on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the SERESC Conference Center, 29 Commerce Drive, Bedford, NH 03110.
