1 Hour Webinar Training

PRESENTATION: The addiction profession has been facing a workforce crisis. With an aging workforce, low numbers entering the profession, and high burnout and turnover, addiction programs are struggling to meet the increasing demand for services. One opportunity for addressing this crisis is leadership development. This webinar will explore how leadership development can help address the addiction workforce crisis, including what leadership is and how to cultivate future leaders. As a result of this training participants will:

  • Participants will be able to define elements of the current workforce crisis in addiction services.
  • Participants will understand leadership and how it fits with and is different from management and clinical supervision.
  • Participants will be able to describe how to increase their own leadership capacity.
  • Participants will be able to identify ways to cultivate future leaders in addiction services.
