1 Hour Webinar Training with Kelly Luedtke, M.Ed., CAGS, MLADC

PRESENTATION: Orientation is the 3rd Core Function in the IC&RC’s 12 Core Functions of a Chemical Dependency Counselor. Orientation focuses on the importance of continuing to build rapport and understanding with the client, while introducing the client to the rules governing the treatment program. Orientation also explore ASAM’s level of care, program goals and objectives, and overall program operations.

Participants will be able to:

1. Know the steps for the orientation process.
2. Understand the Global Criteria associated with the core function of orientation.
3. Describe the ASAM levels of care.
4. Describe the client’s rights that are applicable to the treatment program.
