PRESENTATION: This webinar will explore the challenges faced by individuals, families and communities seeking services from the Substance Use Disorder treatment system. Additionally, the participants will learn about the Trans-Theoretical Model of Behavior Change (Stages of Change). Participants will explore the context in which change occurs and will learn about the multiple strategies that affect, promote, and sustain change. As a result of this webinar participants will be able to:

1. Describe the Substance Use Disorders challenges faced by individuals, families, and communities;
2. Describe the Stages of Change and key characteristics of each stage; and
3. Describe their role in promoting, supporting and sustaining change
