A 6 HOUR TRAINING EVENT ON June 13, 2018
8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (registration begins at 8:00 a.m.)
at NHADACA, 130 Pembroke Road, Suite 100, Concord, NH
PRESENTATION: It’s just marijuana, right? No big deal….. or is it? The general public is faced with contradictory messages about marijuana and marijuana use. This 6 hour training seeks to explain and discuss lessons learned of Colorado’s experiences of legalizing and commercializing marijuana and marijuana products and the importance of marijuana messaging when considering prevention strategies. Participants will leave with an increased understanding of:
- Colorado’s journey to legalize and commercialize marijuana for recreational use;
- Areas to consider around youth prevention in the world of a legal adult market; and
- Successes, tools and resources of Smart Colorado and partners to build skills so they can apply this in their own communities.
The training will conclude with current NH specific policy and advocacy information.
PRESENTER: Henny Lasley, is one of the co-founders of Smart Colorado.
