Cheri Bryer

Why are you nominating this individual?
"Cheri is in long term recovery and has come so far in her journey. She had helped support, advocate and help bring down stigma for moms with SUD. Cheri had been with DH for almost ten years, starting her career as a recovery coach being paid only in gift cards. Cheri has paved the way for many moms to see that they matter and that they can overcome the battle with addiction and live a somewhat healthy and normal life.

Cheri is also my mother, her and I have worked on many recovery coach trainings in the Upper Valley. Our relationship has had its own battels, though we have overcome those as well and now serve together on the same team helping those in need.

Being able to share our story has been an amazing opportunity. If anyone is deserving of this award it is Cheri. She has proven not only on a system level but in her personal life that no matter how hard the fight is the light at the end of the tunnel is always waiting and shining. Please consider Cheri as a nominee."
