Laina recently shared her experiences at a conference for Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Community. There is a level of professionalism and humility that she brings to each client and person she meets. This award will propel her forward as well as recognize the efforts she has dedicated for several years. Laina Reavis continues to grow as a person and professional CRSW. Biography:
Laina Reavis, CRSW, is a woman in long-term recovery from Substance Use Disorder. She currently is the Senior Project Manager for Peer Recovery Support Services – Facilitating Organization at Harbor Care, Inc. in Nashua, NH. Laina is part of a team that is responsible for the building, developing and sustaining 20 Recovery Community Centers throughout New Hampshire. She comes to Harbor Care, Inc. from SOS Recovery Community Organization located in Dover, NH, where she worked as a Capacity Building Specialist. During her time at SOS, she provided direct service through a Telephone Recovery Support Program, Volunteer services, Recovery Coaching services and also is a trainer of trainers for multiple CRSW classes. Laina has been providing and implementing recovery support since 2016.
Music and art are really important for Laina’s recovery; she enjoys live music, museums and pretty much any activity incorporating both. In her free time, Laina enjoys crafting, journaling and spending time with friends and family and her beloved cat, Luna. In nice weather, Laina is an avid swimmer and enjoys kayaking and camping.
