"Lisa works very hard at being a part of several boards and committees that are trying to make positive changes and/or advocate for the AOD professionals world and the clients we serve while also being a director of a SUD services at an organization that "provides supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need enabling them to gain self-sufficiency and respect." Even having all these responsibilities she still shows up, pays attention, has good observation skills and not afraid to speak up."

Biography:

Lisa Spurrell is an MLADC residing in Windham, NH and is originally from Manchester, NH. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Norwich University and her Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling for Substance Use and Addictive Disorders from Grand Canyon University. Lisa has a varied background in substance use and mental health treatment, to include short-term mental health residential, student assistance programs, various ASAM levels of care, and perinatal substance use care coordination. Lisa is currently the Director of Substance Use Services with Families in Transition, and she is actively working toward her Perinatal Mental Health Certification for continuing education. Outside of her profession, Lisa enjoys going out for activities with her family, reading, and traveling.
