Maddie Kiernan: Driven by a deep passion for helping others and advocating for equality, Maddie has dedicated her career to supporting communities through grant management, program development, and nonprofit work.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies in Human Sciences from Auburn University, with two minors; Human Development and Family Science and Women’s Studies. At Auburn University she began her journey into the nonprofit sector as a Program Assistant with a startup clinic, gaining valuable experience in grant writing, administration, and multidisciplinary team collaboration. Maddie is committed to creating opportunities that promote personal growth, community support, and equitable outcomes. Her strengths include grant writing, program coordination, budget management, data analysis, and fostering collaborative environments
She is currently serving as the Credentialing Program Coordinator for NHADACA. Previously she served as the Grants Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire, where she successfully secured funding from municipal, foundation, and federal pass-through entities. Her work involved managing all aspects of the grant process, from writing and research to budget management and reporting, ensuring that funding supports programs aimed at making a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve. With experience in developing and managing student programs in the Orange Southwest School District and coordinating teams across multiple disciplines.
