"It is with great admiration and deep respect that we nominate Lindy Keller, MS, MLDAC, for the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing a Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC) in New Hampshire. Over the course of her distinguished career, Lindy has been a catalyst for transformative change, fostering a system that values recovery as a person-centered, holistic, and lifelong journey. Lindy’s work has been instrumental in shaping policy, practice, and community partnerships that center the voices and needs of individuals and families impacted by substance use. Through her strategic leadership, New Hampshire has seen the growth of Recovery Community Organizations, peer support services, recovery-friendly workplaces, and integrated care models—all foundational elements of a strong ROSC. Her efforts have bridged gaps between systems, ensuring that recovery is not an isolated goal but a community-supported process."


Biography:

Lindy Keller, MS, MLADC, is a Master Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor who has worked in the addiction field since 1980. She received her A.B. in Psychology and Religion from Duke University and her M.S. in Community Mental Health with a specialization in Dual Diagnosis from Southern New Hampshire University. Her experience includes direct service, consultation, training and administration of programs addressing substance use concerns. She has presented workshops on aspects of addiction, co-occurring disorders, recovery, enhancing change, high risk youth, resiliency and families. She has served on the faculty of the New England School of Addiction Studies since 2007. Prior to retirement she was the Resources and Development Administrator for the NH Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services since 2000, she is responsible for public and professional education, support for internal systems development and cross-systems policy and program development.
