As a CRSW, she continues to build recovery capital in others through peer support, program facilitation, and community outreach. She has played a key role in the development of Narcan trainings and the growth of the Syringe Service Alliance of the Nashua Area. Response 2:
"It is with great pride and admiration that I nominate Priscilla Matos for the NHADACA Emerging Leader Award. Priscilla is a powerhouse of leadership, compassion, and resilience—demonstrating daily what it means to lead with both heart and experience.
Priscilla exudes leadership not only within her formal role but in every interaction she has across the Greater Nashua and Manchester communities. Her work supporting individuals impacted by substance use disorder (SUD) goes far beyond a job description; it is a mission she lives and breathes every day. Whether she is engaging with someone in active use, mentoring a peer in early recovery, or collaborating with community partners, Priscilla shows up with authenticity, empathy, and strength.
What sets Priscilla apart is her lived experience. As both a graduate and former participant of a Recovery Court program, she brings a level of insight and credibility that cannot be taught—only earned..."
Response 3:
"Priscilla has learned over the years that treating people is not ""a one size fits all"". You need to help people as they want to be helped. She is constantly thinking outside of the box to reach the reachable and unreachable.
Her approach is in an unconditional, non-judgemental stance, approach and voice. She takes the time to build trust and patience with individuals.
She has worked her way up the ladder at Revive Recovery and is now forging trusted partnerships in the communities that Revive Recovery Resource Center serves.
As she has always said one person should not be someone's only support/resource. If Revive cannot provide what is being asked for she will help an individual find a trusted partner who may be able to help.
We all have set working hours but at times if something important has arisen she will do her best to help after hours."
