Counselor for an intensive SUD treatment program in the Belknap County Department of Corrections working with inmates with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Work with a strong team of counselors in a supportive environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual and group counseling with offenders sentenced to the CORE Program, participating in post discharge planning and delivering continuing care to individuals leaving the facility during a period of strict follow-up supervision. Some evening hours and after hours on-call required. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services or equivalent is required; a masters degree preferred. LADC, MLADC preferred. Supervision is available to qualified candidates seeking LADC, MLADC, LICSW and/or LCMHC.
